How to use your code:
After you hit the button to generate the code for the version of the game you're running, you'll have to add the code into your emulator as a new cheat code. In Project64, this can be done through the top menu bar at System>>Cheats. Click the arrow on the right hand side to open the cheat creation section. Paste your code into the box labeled 'address,' and give a name for the code in the 'Name' box. Click on 'Add Cheat,' and it will appear in the list on the left hand side. Now just check off the box beside it and Mario will be sporting his new look!

1. On the tool below, drag the cursor on the 'Hue' selector (right side) to generate the desired base color.
If you're on a touch-screen device (iPad, etc.), use your finger to select the colors. On smaller devices (smartphones) make sure you are in Landscape mode instead of Portrait.
2. Next click inside the Brightness/Saturation grid to activate the cursor. Drag it until the desired brightness is achieved.
The 'Swatch' bar at the bottom of the tool shows you the final color result.
3. The hex color code is generated at the bottom of the grid in the 'Hex' box. Simply copy and paste the code into your page.

This is a great tool to use if you're trying to come up with cohesive colors for your navigation, background, hyperlinks, etc.
Remember, it's best to choose 3-4 colors max and use them consistently throughout your website. It will make it look more cohesive.
