Collaboratory.US. Collaboratory provides a low cost mechanism and management process to hospital laboratories that wish to leverage their outreach services through the formation of networks. We manage individual networks and are working to build a national network of networks as a means to increase their value with health benefit plans operating within the U.S. The Social Data Collaboratory (SDC) uses social media and data science to inform decisions. Main Content The internet and social media have redefined how we search for, are exposed to, produce and share knowledge and ideas. Colab notebooks allow you to combine executable code and rich text in a single document, along with images, HTML, LaTeX and more. When you create your own Colab notebooks, they are stored in your Google Drive account. From the heart of Ceri Jones Studio's (The Collaboratory), we create Inspired, small to large scale Artworks and delight in sharing our craft & the creative process through private and small group classes at our Creative School. Against

Collaboratory Project

In August 2018 the Collaboratory hosted an invitation-only “Subsurface Energy Roundtable” that included topics related to oil and gas exploration, geothermal energy, geologic sequestration, new applications for subsurface energy, methane emissions and other topics. The discussion included participants from industry, academia, and the U.S. Department of Energy. This roundtable discussion brought together a wide range of perspectives to help identify potentially transformational technology opportunities, as well as the thought leaders in industry and academia who could launch new R&D programs to unlock these opportunities.

Game-changing investments positioning Colorado to power the nation

The four Collaboratory institutions have spun out 90+ new companies and acquired 540+ new technology licenses since 2007. Colorado is #3 in U.S. Department of Energy’s ARPA-E investments nationally which has been a fast-track to commercialization. The four institutions have $500 million in investments in facilities and strategic hiring of entrepreneurial research.

Since 2007, the Colorado Energy Research Collaboratory (Collaboratory) is a uniquely Colorado partnership. The Collaboratory has been a successful and impactful research consortium among four leading research institutions—the Colorado School of Mines, Colorado State University, University of Colorado-Boulder, and National Renewable Energy Laboratory. Our impact and exceptional record of research and education can be read in our economic impact report.

Our research areas support a diversified energy portfolio in advanced energy technologies in oil and gas, sustainable energy, microgrid, battery, advanced cooling, gas to liquid, and increased energy efficiency — to name a few.

The Collaboratory works with industry partners, public agencies, and other universities and colleges to transform our energy future. We do this by:

  • Use our world-class researchers and state-wide facilities to expand our national leadership in energy research collaborations
  • Leverage partnerships to transform research innovation into commercial impact
  • Developing technologies that make “all of the above” energy exploration and production more effective and cheaper
  • Training the next-gen workforce through education, company/job creating technologies and intellectual property
  • Boosting the nation’s energy ecosystem through research partnerships with industry, foundations, and government

Attend the 9th annual energy transition symposium!

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Collaboratory rescheduled the 9th annual energy transition symposium until May 4-5 and 14, 2021. Originally planned for April 28-29, 2020 we had to be resilient and flexible. You can attend some or all of the three day event — due to the uncertainty of hosting large in-person events, this year will be 100% virtual!
